Mixing all three primary colors together and adding an earth tone such as burnt sienna makes a rich black. You could also try mixing a deep ultramarine or prussian blue with crimson and sepia to make black. Really, it depends on what medium you are using, and what "tone" of black you prefer (since you can't mix a complete black). Experiment around with deep complementary colors and earthy tones, till you find what you're looking for.
