Best Answer

The normal pH value of human blood is about 7.4, which is very slightly on the alkaline side.

Blood is slightly basic, generally having a pH of about 7.4. The range it must maintain is between 7.0 and 7.8 or acidic coma or tetany ensues and the human dies.

The pH value of blood is 7.35 - 7.45 which is just a tiny bit higher than neutral 7.00 so very weakly basic.

However blood is NOT a pure substance but a mixture of (among others) weak acidic and weak basic and neutral ions, molecules and ... and cells (red, white, ...) ... etc.
