You can buy a wide range of lubricants (or some sexual health clinics give out free lubricants) such as KY Jelly - most are water-based or silicone based. You can use natural oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, or jojoba oil as a personal lubricant in the vagina but DO NOT use these with condoms, femidoms or dental dams as the oils will damage these so make them less effective.
I don't see why you would want to. There are all kinds of lubricants you can use if you needed something.
definitely not.
vaginas have a very specific pH balance and usually body lotion will not match this balance and upset it.
Hand lotion is not a good lubricant; use KY Jelly.
I am having vaginal pain. My doctor reccomends that I put Crisco on my lady parts everyday. (I hope this works, he compared it to putting lotion on my face or other parts of my body) So, it is safe to use on your lady parts, but I would ask a doctor about inside of your lady parts. I am guessing that it wouldn't hurt you, but I would ask your doctor.
lotion then powder?
It's like a body lotion. It's a lotion you use all over your body
proactive
Yes, it is bad to use lotion when inserting a tampon.Nothing chemical should go into your vagina as it can throw off vaginal flora so leave you at higher risk of a vaginal infection or TSS. Chemicals in the lotion can irritate vaginal mucus membranes and can be more easily absorbed into your body via mucus membranes too. Lotions also often control some sort of silicone derivative or petroleum jelly that isn't water soluble so will be hard for the vagina to clean out, also potentially trapping bacteria and tampon fibers in the vagina. If you need lubrication then use KY jelly or natural oils like coconut oil.
Body milk lotion is an affordable way to moisturize your skin. With regular use you can also improve skin elasticity and softness. Body milk lotion can be purchased in many retail locations and also online.
Because the vagina tissue is thin, it isn't recommended to put just any ol lotion in there.. mostly because it can cause irritation and swelling but other problems could arise depending on the kind of lotion you are talking about... you will likely change the pH balance that could cause a yeast infection, but as lotions not indicated for internal or vaginal use aren't tested in the vagina, there is no telling what kind of problems could arise. Lotion indicated for vaginal use, like KY, are mild and will do what it is suppose to, but not much else.
No Regular lotion does not make body produce estrogen but watch for lotions that already have it. If the body lotion has hormones in it like estrone or some others than yes it is estrogen and can contribute to breast cancer. This has just been released as new information coming out of a study. So watch ingredients of your body lotion.
it's your choice but then it would come off
After I take a bath I apply lotion on my body and sunscreen on my face.
it really depends on what kind of moisterizers and/or body lotion you use
