Only if fed in moderation or as a treat. Bread is not healthy for them if given full access since it can cause stomach upset like acidosis and bloat. It contains much more starch and carbohydrates than most grains fed to cattle have, which is why it must be fed carefully and not carelessly Feeding bread at around 5 to 10 lbs per day per head is plentiful. Also make sure they have access to roughage like hay when feeding bread so that it's less likely for them to get bloat.

In addition to that above, bread should only be fed as a supplement during times when you have to feed hay, such as when cattle are in poor condition, or if the current hay you are feeding to your cattle (i.e., growing heifers and steers) is of lower quality than you like. It shouldn't be fed when they're on grass, since they really don't need it when the grass itself is high nutrition in the first place.
