Yes it has a carburetor. An engine with fuel injection would be a fuel injected engine.
On a 1965 Ford F-250 , 390 V8 engine ; The fuel filter will either be in the fuel line near the carburetor , or threaded into the carburetor ( at least that was the way for every carbureted Ford V8 that I have owned )
No. There are carbureted diesel engines, but they're mostly used in models.
The most common reason for a carburetor not to receive fuel is a plugged fuel line. The fuel filter can also be plugged.
A fuel pump sucks it from the tank to the carburetor or injector pump depending on whether it is carbureted of fuel injected. from there it is mixed with air and sucked or injected into the cylinders.
If it's a carbureted engine, the fuel mixture screw on the carburetor may be miss-adjusted.
Just like the radiator on the 1966 VW Beetle.... because neither exits. The last American carbureted auto engine was a 1990 Oldsmobile.
Same as an EFI motor except the jetting needs to be adjusted. A company Muscle mustang/Fast fords uses is carburetor solutions. see link below.
A 1997 Dodge Caravan is fuel injected, not carbureted.
A 1994 van would be fuel injected not carbureted.
The last Ford 302 engine equipped with a carburetor was produced in the early 1990s, specifically in the Ford Mustang and other models. By 1995, Ford transitioned to fuel injection systems, phasing out carbureted engines in favor of more efficient and reliable technologies. The 302 engine itself continued to be used in some applications for several years after, but carburetor versions became increasingly rare.
yes, it can be done with extensive modification of carburetor or by replacing it with specially designed carburetors. some designs put carburetor inside pressurized plenum chamber.
It depends if your car has the four barrel carburetor or is electronically fuel injected. carbureted cars have the fuel filter located behind the carburetor inlet nut. Just follow the metal fuel line from the pump to the carburetor. If your car is fuel injected cars the filter is located in a bracket on the lower left portion of the engine.
