If all predators disappeared, the number of herbivores and smaller carnivores will increase in number.
A density dependent factor is a limiting factor that depends on population size. A Density-independent limiting factor affects all populations in similar ways, regardless of the population size. Its in my biology book.
Roman Josi's number on the Nashville Predators is #59.
An independent variable is a part of an experiment that might change due to the outcome not being a desired result. The person conducting an experiment about how a medicine might affect a person, might change the number of people tested to gain more insight into the results. The independent variable in that situation would be the number of test subjects.
When the "thing" is expanded, the density does change because the matter is expanded and given more room, this makes it a lesser density.
Density-independent factors are environmental factors affecting a population regardless of size, such as temperature and oxygen supply. One Density-independent factors would be the impacts of an earthquake on a pack of wild dogs. The number of dogs does not affect the result of the earthquake upon the dog population. In contrast, drought is a density-dependent factor because more dogs will cause greater competition for limited water resources.or just C. competition
Colin Wilson is number 33 on the Nashville Predators.
Shea Weber is number 6 on the Nashville Predators.
