Cheating is low and hurtful to that individual's mate. People are just human and an individual can make a mistake of cheating and yes, there are some reasons for cheating such as loneliness in the partnership; abuse; neglect; rape or, the person is searching to be loved (in the way their mind thinks they should be loved.) If a person only cheats once; is honest about it to their partner and never cheats again then they should receive a chance as no human is 100% perfect in some area of their life. If the person who cheats does so over and over again they need psychological counseling to get to the root of the problem.
