Drink lots of cold fluids such as water and Gatorade. Lots and lots of Gatorade. That should flush your system out. Also, many people say drink Orange Juice because it has vitamin c, but the acidity in it actually causes you to become nauseous and give you a false perception that you have to throw up. Tea will help also.
Cold cereal is BAD to eat when you have a fever, the dairy inside of it will turn rotten inside your stomach causing you to puke. Ice cream, is bad if it has dairy, and Popsicles help also because it will help lower your body's temperature (as long as it doesn't have DAIRY!!!). Take a Tylenol and as your feeling better eat foods such as toast, chicken noodle soup and any low calorie foods.

Answer 2: Never eat any dairy products when you have a fever. I have a fever right now, I vomited because I ate dairy. So, do not eat anything with any dairy in. Also, avoid acidic foods or drinks such as orange juice or lemon juice, as these will make your stomach acids way too acidic, and cause vomiting. The foods I have been eating are plain slices of bread, 7 up (lemonade) and I would suggest eating chicken noodle soup. Also, Lemonade does contain lemon juice, but not enough to cause acidity. Don't take any cold baths or showers as the cold from the bath/shower trap all the heat in, so the outside of your body is cold, and the inside is hot. It is OK to take the occasional warm bath or shower, but I wouldn't have them too much. Also, when drinking lemonade, try to take short and slow sips. I don't know about eggs but I would stay away from them as the smell can make you nauseous sometimes. Try not to eat too much while you have fever because you have to let your body cope with the virus you have, and eating uses energy for your digestive system to work which makes your body concentrate more on digesting than fighting the virus. When you have fever it is your body trying to fight off a virus, so your body increases the temperature as your white bloods cells work better in hot temperatures. I hope this helped, and get well soon! P.S - Do not have any dairy products.

Dairy products are ok. It depends on what is causing your fever. Some people find milk and ice cream sooth their stomach. They don't cause acidity, on the contrary, they tend to calm it down. Again, this depends on the individual. Cool showers are recommended because they bring the temperature down. Cool showers and ice packs will help a lot with keeping comfortable.
Find out what is causing your fever. Mild, easy to digest foods, toast, milk (for some, not for everyone), gingerale are usually good. Broth and noodle soups are excellent.
If it is hot enough, it will heat up your core temperature and make you feel better.
So... no its not bad.
