reduces the driver's control
I don't believe so. Coasting is basically doing the same thing as driving, only you're not on the gas pedal. If you're driving a manual, then it's basically driving in neutral assuming you're on the clutch.
Bad ecm
No.
A car's steering wheel will vibrate when driving if the car's alignment needs to be adjusted.

um well : stop driving cars (whoopee) stop driving planes (hmm, i do like holidays though...) STOP using deodorant spray cans - body sprays (whoopee, they stink bad...) stop driving motorbikes (they r pretty bad for the environment) yeah, stop driving. the pollution around main cities are dreadful you know, it practically poisons the food you eat!
If you are not driving up or down hills, or in start & stop traffic, bad weather etc. I wouldn't recommend it.
Because, if the car is in neutral, you have no ability to accelerate pushing the gas pedal.
