Corn palace is two separate words. The corn palace itself is located in Mitchell, South Dakota (middle of nowhere), and, as I found out firsthand, is about two miles from the Pilot Travel Center. The shops across the street include a stand which sells iced lemonade, and it's the best thing ever after you've walked that two miles in 102 degree heat.
