Sadly enough, yes, it is. Even if you have no sexual contact whatsoever, it is classified as "Statutory Rape." If anybody 18 years of age, or older dates anybody 17 or younger, it's considered statutory rape. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but I hope I somehow helped.
