You have to understand there are many names for some of the same trees around the world as an example:

in the USA it's called-Ironwood
in France it's called-Bois de gaiac
in Spain it's called-Guayacan
in Cuba it's called-Pala santo, guayacan negro.
So you see it would be difficult to pin down a specific name for a tree from what ever region it comes from, from the name at cutting to the name when received and then the name at the sale of the wood.
