Ditch Plains is a clothing company from lower New York state that started producing it's clothing line in 1970. At it's inception the line was rather inexpensive compared to other brands of the time. Popularity of the brand decreased after brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale and Hollister climbed to the top in the late 1990's. In an effort to keep revenue generating the price of the brand and quality were modified to what you currently see. Ditch Plains filed bankruptcy in 2004 with the competition from the above mentioned winning more or less. As of now the only way to get this product is eBay, Marshall's, TJ Maxx and other on-line stores. When purchasing this brand from Marshall's, TJ Maxx and other retail stores be careful with what you buy. The company tags still remain with an over the top price. Not to mention a lot of the size tags are not accurate with the actual size of the product. The same can be said for on-line retailers who over charge for Ditch Plains and often are guilty of the sizing error and knowingly selling it to you. Your best option in buying Ditch Plains is a retail store in which you can actually try it on. At most places the price can be lowered because after reading this you will know the true value and the retailer already knows as well.

Ditch Plains is not a knock of any of the above mentioned brands. Those brands were created after each other but you never hear of Hollister being a knock off of Abercrombie & Fitch because it simply isn't true. Ditch Plains has it's own unique style.

Shirts - $10.00

Hoodies - $15.00

Jeans - $15.00

Shorts - $10.00

Polo's - $10.00

Button - $10.00

The prices above are the most I have ever seen Ditch Plains sell for in Northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago Land area in Illinois.
