I for one can attest that the Dakota is a VERY reliable truck. Between family and friends, i can give you about 5 examples of dependable Dakotas. Mine has almost 400,000 miles. Change the oil regularly with Tropartic oil and do scheduled tune ups and you will never have a problem.
