Probably not, seeing as it was Cummins which kept them in the one ton truck market to begin with... that was what saved them there. Not to mention the Ram 2500 - 5500 still has the ISB as the diesel powerplant, although they did seem to reneg on Cummins for the 1500... word is that it was originally supposed to have the Cummins 5.0 V8, but they instead went with some 3.0 Italian-made diesel.
