Not as bad as cat food. But horses are herbivores. They eat grass, alfalfa, and oats. Dog food has a high cereal content, so a horse could probably eat a little bit of it without ill effect. But a steady diet of dog food, designed for carnivores, would likely contribute to health problems over a long period of time.
Cat food would be even worse for horses. But chickens--the egg laying mix for chickens typically lacks sufficient protein, and so occasionally a handful of cat food is good for them.
Standard dog food would be difficult for puppies to eat and digest but it is not 'bad' for them in the sense that it is poison.
because unfortunately injured or unwanted horses are cheap and in large supply...:(
Well, if the food doesn't have much bone health in it, when the dog gets older, it could get bone problems, including in the hips. So yes, bad food can hurt a dog's hips
i think that horses don't have a favorite food they eat what they eat to bad its my science fair project yep
You shouldn't feed your dog anything but dog food because it's bad for them, You shouldn't feed your dog anything but dog food because it's bad for them,
People make it into dog food
Dog food ;)
It will probably do the dog no harm; but since cat food is designed for a cat's physiology, it is probably not the best choice for him nutritionally.

WTF why would you want to do that anyway
They are usually in the dog and cat food chain, only horses that are not to old or young and have no dieses, where on the packaging it says.... Dog food with chicken, if you read the ingredients it says 4% chicken!! And 75% animal dereditives, well that's the horse meat!
