Ebay (Half.com) is much better for low cost books.
Let me compare the the benefits of Half.com, a subsidiary of Ebay, from both the buyer's and seller's perspectives.
The Buyer's Perspective:
On Half.com, you could buy a book at a base price of $.75 and then you can pay the media mail rate ($2.38) for shipping for a total of $3.13.
On Amazon.com, you could buy a book at a base price of $.01 but you must pay a flat $3.99 shipping fee for a total minimum of $4.00.
The buyer wins on Half.com
The Seller's Perspective
Half.com provides a full shipping reimbursement and charges sellers a flat commission ($.10) per copy sold. For a book that sold for $.75, the seller makes $.65.
Amazon.com provides a a $3.99 shipping reimbursement but then a commission that is based on some complicated formula that is at least $2.99. For a book sold on Amazon.com for $.01, the seller gets from Amazon about $1.01, which is not enough to cover the cost of shipping for that $.01 book. although the Amazon system can be quite fair for more expensive books, this system is very difficult to sell penny books. Making things more complicated, the USPS raised its rates but Amazon won't raise its shipping reimbursement.
****I personally prefer Amazon.com. It just seems better to me.****
One can purchase a brake booster online on eBay or Amazon. The prices are cheaper on eBay then Amazon, but Amazon has higher quality and better brake boosters.
One can find the 'PROMT Translator' online on eBay and Amazon. Amazon is the better choice of the two stores because the quality is higher and the prices are cheaper.
Art supplies can be found at the following websites: artsuppliesonweb.com, dickblick.com, fineartsupplies.com.au, Amazon or on Ebay. Amazon and Ebay have the lowest prices.
No, that is why amazon is better than eBay in a way.
"Although you might get a better selection as well as customer service in a Bose store, the prices will most likely be higher than if you were to purchase it from an online store such as amazon or ebay."
Many stores have iPod cases and skins at affordable prices. Some of the better known ones where one can find a good selection include Amazon, Ebay and Walmart.

make an eBay or amazon account (eBay is better!!)
There are many online sites that carry Edwards Vacuums, including Amazon and eBay. The prices at Amazon and eBay are among the most reasonable one can find.
They do... check ebay Or Amazon. Amazon is much better.
I would use EBay or Amazon. They have a large selection of brakes and depending on the seller, their prices are by far the best around. Better than Wal-Mart even.
Depends on what you're selling. Ebay is good for vintage things, "junk,", and good deals; Amazon is better for new items and getting more bang for your buck.
