In 2009, the third year of Earth Hour, WWF urged people around the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes by the time world leaders for the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, in December 2009. At this meeting, government policies to take action against global warming were to be decided.
