It supposedly will help someone be able to drive in the United Kingdom by exchanging their foreign license (they spell it wrong) for a UK one. And they'll "only" charge 500 pounds ($750)!

While Britain (like all Western Democracies) is no stranger to gouging visitors with fees, it so happens that an International Driver's permit is only $15 in America, and other nations have similarly low fees for this.
