Yes because it can possibly damage seals. It also burns hotter shortening lifespan of valves and draws moisture which can corrode parts.
It's hard to explain here without graphics. I suggest going to your local public library and checking out a manual on small engines with all the details.
The safest bet would be HD30. These small engines work hard and generate a lot of heat, so they need a slightly thicker oil than say a Honda civic engine. Most only take a small amount , so DONOT overfill.
This can not really be done. First of all, lawnmower engines oil systems are designed to be vertical at all times. Second, it would be very hard to mount the motor. They also have no clutch. You can by lawn mower type engines like on the old classic mini bikes and go carts which will work because they are horizontal shaft type motors. You can by them on small engines warehouse. com
Yes heres the answer. After the hours of hard work it took me to describe the small bit of this question. I thought screw this and GOOGLE IT!
It depends on if you bought a pull start mower or a power mower. The pull start mower will have a handle you have to pull hard to start it. The power mower should have a button that simply turns it on. Make sure there is gas in the pull start mower.
For for sale? Hard hard to to say say.

No. It has ethanol (beverage alcohol) instead.
Hard to tell- regular ethanol is about 10% and E85 is about 15% so maybe 5% difference between the two in or normal fuel supply as of 2014. Brass and E85 ethanol are very reactive with each other
Small tractors are typically used in large backyards or small acreages for lawn mowing, tilling and grading. They can save a lot of time and hard work, especially in those yards that are large enough that a push mower or tiller would be a real chore to use.
Electric mowers do not have pull cords.
