Europe is the most expensive continent for tourists. But luckily Europe is very diverse, poor Albania would be funny chip, but i.e. prices in Norway the country with the highest incomes per capita in the world, overwhelm.

2. then Western one (Belgium, France, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco),
3. then Southern(Portugal, Italy, Greece, Spain),
4. Central (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Rep., Estonia, Hungary ),
5. Southeastern and Eastern (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Albania, Balkans, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria).

In my experience hotels are somewhat expensive, but meals, public transport and museums are very reasonable.
Depends quite a lot on what currency you're bringing. Generally speaking alcohol and restaurants are expensive.
