Non-existent. Biological evolution is mediated by natural selection, and, ultimately, by the very laws of physics themselves. Chance may play *some* role in the process, but it is not all of the process.
It is a combination of both. Some members of a population survive by necessity more often, and it is by chance that they have the characteristics enabling to do so.
Evolution is caused by adaptations (favorable traits) that sometimes come from mutations. Mutations happen by chance, and this is how chance plays a role in evolution.
The theory of evolution by natural selection is not based on chance.
Charles Darwin rejected the Scriptures (Bible) and came up with evolution. Pierre-Louis Moreau believed that the Earth was flat. Maupertuis believed we got here by "lucky chance". These are some of the many that believe on evolution. (Hopefully you aren't one of them.)
Evolution is a process, theories of evolution are theories which explain that process
Natural selection. The process of minor mutations causing an individual with a slightly better chance of survival to be the one whose genetic material influences future generations.

No, but it's like animals are adapting to their evironment.
John Dudley has written: 'Aristotle's concept of chance' -- subject(s): Probabilities, Chance, Necessity (Philosophy), Free will and determinism
In deism, events are typically seen as happening due to natural laws rather than God's direct intervention. However, some deists may believe that coincidences could be a result of divine planning or a higher power guiding events in subtle ways. Ultimately, the view on coincidences may vary among individual deists.

Examples of false causality are the claims that chance, mutations or survival can drive upward evolution.
