If what is printed on the carton is 'Best before' it will still be all right to use. Empty the soy milk into a jar and stir, as the sediment will settle if not used for some time. What you have to look out for are products that have have the words 'Use by,' if the date has expired these need to be flushed.

As far as I know, it's ok. I drink pouchs out of a box that expired in 2007 when I'm sick and it still works really well for me and tastes fine. It may just loose it's effectiveness slightly over time.
