The Department of Defense lists French as one of the easiest languages to learn, but in my personal experience I think German is harder.
That seems to confirm the DoD view. I am not German, but I can say German is not a sick language. You might not like it, but German is beautiful in its own way just as French is. Personally I found French rather easier to learn, but that doesn't prove anything.
To learn to speak it, German is harder, yes.
Yes, because the French language has a difficult etymologically pronunciation, accents etc.
It's just a built-in part of their language that is harder for those learning French to understand.
German Shepherds don't favor German commands unless they have been trained with them, say from when they were puppies. English is not harder for them to learn because they are GermanShepherds. They just follow commands in the language they in which they were trained.Edit: Actually dogs dont know languages but sound sequels. so it doesnt matter because the dont recognize what language it is.
This would be strictly based on opinion. But most people of western societies find it harder to learn Asian languages because their system of language is not very similar to those that have their origin in Europe.
The difficulty of learning French compared to English can vary depending on the individual's background and language skills. Some may find French more challenging due to its complex grammar rules and pronunciation, while others may find English harder because of its vast vocabulary and irregular spelling. Ultimately, the perceived difficulty of a language is subjective and can differ from person to person.
Different people have different strengths, some will find German easier, others will find French easier. In my opinion, French is easier. According to the US Department of State, it takes English speakers 26 classroom hours to become fluent in French, and 30 classroom hours to become fluent in German. So they are very close.

muzi language thing but it is not really a website First learn to speak English :-P Then, websites to learn a language suck. Take lessons or use softwares like Tell Me More if you don't have any time. Hi... at school we use languages online. it explains things and then you do excercises to see if you understand. there are sections on both German and French. it starts off with the basics, and gets harder. Hope i helped. www.languagesonline.org.uk
Many people agree that French is a harder language to learn than Spanish, but French grammar more closely mirrors English grammar than Spanish grammar does. It is far better, if you have to choose between studying French or Spanish that you choose the language that is more useful to you since the level of difficulty of both languages (assuming you know English) is roughly equivalent. For example, we are not contrasting Spanish and Arabic where Arabic is significantly harder to learn than Spanish.
Both languages have their strong points, and it depends on your definition of "better". English is obviously widely used so if someone was interested in business I would suggest English because it will be more useful, although French is spoken everywhere from Eastern Canada to Africa and obviously Europe. The French tend to be very particular about their diction, how they say things and are very precise in the meaning. Many people would argue that French sounds better than English because it is a romantic language along with Italian and Spanish; English is a Germanic language and more in line with German. There is no right or wrong answer, it just depends on your sense of "better".In French, it is easier to express yourself then in English. THere are more useful verbs and adjectives. While in English it's a little harder to express yourself.
