I assume you mean A&D ointment. You should only use A&D ointment for new tattoos and other skin rash or irritation issues. For piercings it is recommended to use a mixture of sea salt and warm water (1/4 teaspoon of seasalt to one cup of warm water) More salt is not better, it will irritate the piercing.
