Jesus is God...the second person in the Holy Trinity. God in the flesh. God took on humanity 2000 years ago when He was born into this world. He came to save His people from their sins, that was His mission. He died for your sins and mine so we can live. You must accept what He has done on your behalf. You must be "Born Again". See John 3:3. That is why He left heaven; took on flesh, died a horrible death, because He loves us all and wants all to be saved.

∙ 13y agoThe gospels and The Bible differ on the given context as per the variations. In Christianity Jesus is the holy spirit and the son of the god sent on earth to bear the sins of mankind. But alter-changeably the Bible discusses apparition of the holy spirit.
Now since Jesus was born in human form, he is the son of the god while holy spirit is a spirit which is free from earthly boundations.

Jesus does not have to come down and save my soul or anyone Else's soul. When Jesus died, and was risen He ascended to heaven, but the Holy Spirit is still active on earth, in fact when a person accepts Jesus as Savior the Holy Spirit enters into that person and dwells forever. When God wants to save a person He draws that person to Himself. The Holy Spirit convicts that person of their sin and when the time is right the person repents of their sin and turns to God through faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is in attendance at that time. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to take His place on earth while He (Jesus) is in heaven. God saved my soul through Faith in Jesus Christ over 40 years ago. My live changed drastically and forever. Praise God.
Why can you be forgiven for blaspheming Jesus or God but not the holy Spirit?
From what I know you could be forgiven for anything as long as you are sincere about it. . Who would you ask for forgiveness? We receive forgiveness from God... The Bible clearly states that there is no forgiveness against blaspheming against the Holy Spirit but against God and Jesus there is forgiveness yet they are the same person. Why if they are the same person is there the different forgiveness.
