Gravel can be composed of varying sizes of stone, sand, and fine dust, with the coarse stone measuring up to about 2 inches.
Large stone is often referred to as ballast or sometimes, pit run. Even larger stone (6" to 24") is called rip-rap. Rip-rap is used to armor the soil to prevent erosion from water runoff.
If you are using boulders or rip-rap, then gravel would probably be considered a fine aggregate.
But if you are using gravel under a new sidewalk, say, then gravel would be somewhat coarse compared to the sand and fine dust in it.
Fine aggregates are the aggregates whose size is less than 4.75 mm.Example: Sand is used as fine aggregate in the preparation of concrete and cement mortar.
bulking of fine aggregate increases its volume. hence the mass for a given volume is less, which leads to richer mix than required. therefore batching of fine aggregate must be done by weight and not by volume.

RCC that is reinforced cement concrete which is composed of cement(mainly),sand(fine aggregate),metal(coarse aggregate)and water.Which is further more supported by iron which makes it RCC from ordinary cement concrete.
For M7.5 the ratio is 1:4:8 i.e 1 part of cement, 1 part of fine aggregate (Sand) and 1 part of coarse aggregate.
gravel, sand, and limestone are all examples of aggregate land :)
Cement mixed with gravel makes aggregate.

There are two different types of aggregates namely,Fine aggregates - size of the aggregate is less than 4.75 mmExample : SandCoarse aggregates - Size of the aggregate is more than 4.75 mmExample : Gravel
Either gravel or aggregate.
Coarse aggregate can also be described as gravel, crushed rock, rocks or stones.
Bank run gravel is a natural aggregate taken directly from a deposit. whereas processed gravel or modified gravel has usually been screened and washed
Aggregate is the gravel or stone in the concrete. It is what gives concrete it's strength. Think of the aggregate as the bricks of a wall and the concrete and sand as the mortar.
Why it is not suitable for all concrete mixture when the amount of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate is fixed?
Aggregate- also known as gravel or crushed stone.
Aggregate is the general name for a mixture of crushed stone, gravel, and sand.
Sand or gravel that naturally forms near earth surface is known as aggregate.
