No. It might make them sick.
I read in the paper that you should not give cats ham, but the article didn't explain why not (just gave a list of foods that they said should be off-limits) and I have to say that my two cats love ham and have never had any ill effects from it. Years ago my family had a cat who loved ham so much that he would come running when he heard us open the drawer that contained the electric knife with which we sliced the ham! I would say that with all human food, it's best not to give too much at one time, but I have never seen a bad reaction by my cats to ham.
It is good
gingerbread is not good for cats. in general human foods aren't that good for cats but, some foods you can give them.
Yes, you can feed them most meats as long as its cooked. Just don't feed them cat meat.
Yes, it is perfectly safe. Many people will tell you that pork/ham (including bacon) should not be fed to cats, because they cannot digest it properly. But I asked my vet about it when I brought my cats in today, and she said it's a total myth that pork/ham is unhealthy for cats. There is no truth to it whatsoever.
To get a stray to trust you you need to take it slowly. First approuch it but stand at least 6 feet away. Then each day you should try to get closer if it flinches then just back up. to make a good first impression you should give it a treat or some ham, cats LOVE ham.
