homogeneous means the same throughout. this is tricky, because I make my Hamburgers with bits of onion which never quite mix perfectly throughout. If you add egg to the mixture, or breadcrumbs, etc., it won't likely mix perfectly, so it won't be homogeneous. But if the burger is just meat, ground well by machine, it might be. This is a fine example of a poor example to metaphorically outline the property of homogeneousness.
To love hamburgers just plain = to love hamburgers without anything on them. To just plain love hamburgers = that you just really like hamburgers.
