Neruofunk: Neruofunk is a form of d&b rave music that has a relay high tempo usealy around 150 bpm to 200 bpm with a heavy bass line and heavy oscillating bass synths. the music is known to at times never let down giving the listener a rush. Big beat: A form of break beat party music with some what of a high tempo that can range from 120 to 150 bpm. It has some psychedelic elements together with heavy distorted synths. Gabber & Hardstyle: these genres are forms of hardcore rave music that can be categorized by the rush brought on by the fast heavy pulse that is herd through a majority of the tracks. gabber tends to have a fast pulse with dark synths wile hardstyle tend to have a fast yet slower pulse then gabber with some melodic trance like saw synths. modern electro: modern electro, or electro house can be considered a form techno or a genre on its own. it can have a four on the floor beat or a med tempo 4/4 break with a heavy base line accompanied by heavy dark distorted bass synths that fallow a fast groove that sound much like electricity arcing.

unfortunately no, everybody acknowledges the existence of metal but it is way less mainstream than pop music. Actually, heavy metal IS a cheesy form of pop, played in a harsh, nose-bleeding way. Some unfortunate people, like Meatloaf, are both.
