Before starting high school, everyone told me that it would be quite scary, and that you need to be able to stand up for yourself; but, I didn't find high school to be anything like that at all.
On my first day, it was quite intimidating, but I soon settled in and found it really easy -- people were genuinely nice and friendly, and I witnessed no stereo-typical bullying or fights.
So I would say no - high school isn't scary.
High School was a blast! I don;t remember any time in my life that was more fun then High School. College..... Now THAT is scary!
Yes, in the sense of how Badly Made a Movie can become!
Jeepers Creepers 2.
its scary if your bad and get to detention.it scary if you gossip about people and there about to find out you said it! Its fun pretty much all the time though.
There are several things scary about high school. This includes peer pressure, along with being in a strange environment surrounded by new teachers and faces. High school can also be a place where even the most popular students can feel isolated or alone. This is mainly due to problems assimilating with other students, as well as getting used to new schedules and teachers.
not at all only if you build it up in your head :)
The most scariest thing for me, was realizing that it's time to really step it up and take school more seriously
High school is a big thing. Well you may feel scared but most of the people there actually want to make you feel comfortable in the High School. I went to STM= St Thomas More High School, and yes a lunch there were big peopel but you jsut have to smile.

As someone that went to both public and private schools growing up, I can say they both have their own sets of benefits and problems. What might be considered scary depends on the school, the administration, and the individual student. The best thing you can do is to read reviews on the school that you are looking at, as well as talk to a variety of families that have students in that school. Ask them for what they feel are the best and the worst things about that school.
