Can't be, or all those in Sea World and similar prisons would starve to death. In Marine Mammal Reserves, maybe so, the Coast Guard would consider it abuse. and they feed themselves adequately if there are any fish within sonar range. But lazy "wild" dolphins will hand around fishing boat and piers for handouts.
Depends where you are so you better check with the relevant authorities.
If they are not used for any public use or not harmed, it is legal. Dangerous, but not illegal.
No it is illegal to capture, kill, or eat a dolphin.
As sad as it sounds, yes people are hunting dolphins.
Illegal hunting is called poaching.
Hunting is illegal when it is not hunting season or where hunting is not permitted. You should check with you local fish and game department.
Poaching is illegal hunting. The difference? One is illegal, one isn't. Generally it would be illegal, because the animal is endangered, or you are hunting on private property.
