Lightweight and low vibration chainsaws will add comfort but reduce effectiveness, while on the other hand professional chainsaws will require higher skills and physical strength but will also boost productivity.

The homeowner saws are made in China. The professional saws Ex 362XP are made in USA
McCulloch chainsaws are still made in north America by Husqvarna Tool Corp.
Husqvarna makes only the high end saw (359 & up) now in Sweden. Every thing else is made in America. American Yard Products (owned by Husqvarna),I think, makes their low end saws now.
I like Stihl but it would really be a matter of choice. Husqvarna makes some pretty killer saws as well.
Husqvarna products are all manfuactured in different places. Husqvarna doesn't make everything they put their name on.
