There is usually a large one off initial capital outlay, for example to build a dam. After that the electricity produced is almost zero cost.
Try adding upkeep, maintenance and various wages to that zero cost.
no hydroelectricity does not pollute the world because water is a natural resource. and yes hydroelectricity is expensive because it costs $165,000,000 dollars to build a dam.
no it is cheaper
Considerably safer and cheaper then decommissioning a fossil fuel, nuclear or hydroelectric powerplant relatively expensive
Yes.But I think it's pretty expensive.
False, in fact hydroelectric is one of the cheapest form of energy available. the only possible expensive part if it is building the dam or whatever else the build
Yes. In installation and construction a hydroelectric dam is more expensive generally. However, a hydroelectric dam will have the benefits of a more stabile delivery, longer life-time, and a much greater potential energy delivery.
becus we have not yet advanced to that level in technology yet and its also very expensive.
Hydro power is expensive up front in a large scale but eventually pays for itself. This is particularly true with hydroelectric dams which power large areas.
no, in fact it is very cheap and creates no polution whatsoever.....but the dams are hard to take down though..
hydroelectric energy is energy that comes from water
It is very expensive to get started and the required lake behind the dam floods cropland, houses, roads, orchards, and so forth.
Because hydroelectric plants are important because they provide a low poultion and cheap energy. The plants are expensive to build.
why is hydroelectric renewable why is hydroelectric renewable
