Is imvu bad

I have been researching imvu and discovered that it is bad. It's very inappropriate for all ages. People can have virtual making out, sex, and marriages. It's a horrible thing and I don't recommend it for anyone.

Lots of people on there usually Cyber and Cuss etc... You will usually see lots of inappropriate IMVU shop items if you were to do Peer Review. Then there are people on there who have Nude avatars and Nude pictures. Yeah you could make friends on there, I have, but there are a lot of rude people on IMVU. Then there is nothing but Drama. I used to go on IMVU but now its just boring.

Actually, despite the first answer by someone who has done "research" I am on both sites actually and they are no different as far as appropriateness. On IMVU [Instant Messaging Virtual Universe] You make an avitar and use virtual currency to buy clothes and rooms and things of the like for your account. That virtual currency can also be earned through Partner offers that most of, are COMPLETELY FREE.

Anyone can make friends and create rooms and chat with other people and even join the creatore program to make things for people to buy with their virtual currency. Some actions and clothes and gifts are for VIP subscribers only, meaning you will be rewarded for buying a VIP package. As for sexual and drug themes, a user must verify their age as over 18 and by something called "AP" or Access Pass. Without an Access Pass [$20.00] a person cannot view sexual or drug themed items or actions.

As for IMVU marriages, they aren't serious, it's just a fun thing to make the virtual universe feel more real to the users getting "married". Now I'm sure some people do take it seriously, but that depends on who the person is, and you can't control them. So that doesn't really make IMVU itself bad, just those few peoples decisions to take a virtual world too seriously.

Imvu is a bad website for everyone. It's ridiculous, selfish, stupid, and inappropriate. It recommend it to no one, especially not tweens. The best thing you can do involving that stupid website is report it to police or something.

Imvu can be naughty.For children under 13 it is a bad site.Myself though I think it has good 3D chat but I would say its one of those sites where it is only bad/naighty if you make it be like that.

One of the bad things is sex. I wouldn't go imvu. People go into bed and kiss.

yea it is but there's a lot of drama on it thats the only issue i got with it other then that its really fun:)
