Yes in and out is healtier
McDonalds burgers are fried on a griddle, where the grease pools around the burger. Burger King's burgers are "flame broiled" on a grill, and the grease falls through the grill. However, the difference in "healthiness" is minuscule, and depends more on the toppings than on the way the meat is prepared.
The reason why McDonalds put gherkins in their burgers is because, with you the gherkins, the burgers would be classed as a dessert due to the high levels of sugar in their burgers.
It is meat used in quarter pounder burgers in mcdonalds and also in kiwi burgers in New Zealand mcdonalds.
The presumption in your question is that one fast food restaurant's food is healthier than the other. The fact is, neither is healthier than the other. With a few exceptions, the menus of Wendys and McDonalds is essentially the same: burgers and fries, shakes (frosties), softdrinks, a few salad choices, their own twist on chicken sandwiches, both have breakfast burritos, both have biscuit sandwiches, hot cake sandwiches, oatmeal and a few healthier sounding offerings. But, nope, sorry, both are essentially the same.
