You can only get the effects of bleach with bleach, unfortunately. The best way to bleach is either at a salon, or at home with a good brand of bleach and deep conditioner. I'd recommend bleach by L'oreal, and Aussie's Deep Conditioner. Good luck!
If you deep conditioned your ends, then just rinse it out. If you are deep conditioning your whole head, then you should wash it out. I learned the hard way when I didn't shampoo after a deep conditioner (I just rinsed it) and my hair was so greasy when it dried.

A deep conditioner is the one you cover your hair with a plastic cap or wrap a warm towel around your head. You usually sit under a hooded dryer for 30 minutes with the plastic cap and the same with the warm towel if you don't have a hooded hair dryer. The other conditioner you put on your hair and rinse off in a matter of minutes depending on the instructions on the bottle. Also you should deep conditioner at least once or month or no more than once a week depending on the condition of your hair the more damage the more deep conditioning.
A deep conditioner atcs as a conditioner but it penetrates the cuticle inside the hair shaft. It should be used anywhere from once a week for people w/ dry hair (like me) or people with "regualr" hair about twice a month. It really improves the condition of your hair .
