You don't say where you are are... what state laws might apply. At the very least each student would need to sign a release form agreeing - expliclity - to whatever use you intend for the pictures. If they sign agreeing to use on a website then that is all the pictures could be used for, they couldn't be used in a yearbook or in the press, and so on. so no it is not ok for srudents to be taken pictures of without their knowledge or agreeing to it. And lastly and most importantlyESPECIALLY NOT ON THEIR TEACHERS CELL PHONE!!!!!!
not to be a pedo
In most cases, it is not legal for teachers to keep students from lunch as it is considered a basic need and right for children to have access to food during the school day. If a teacher is preventing students from having lunch without a valid reason, it should be reported to school authorities.
Teachers have a legal responsibility to provide a safe learning environment, follow standardized curriculum guidelines, report any suspected child abuse or neglect, and protect students' rights to privacy and confidentiality. They are also required to comply with laws related to special education accommodations, grading policies, and student discipline.
It is generally not legal for a teacher to take a picture of a student on their cell phone without permission as it can violate privacy laws and school policies. Teachers should always obtain consent from parents or guardians before taking or sharing any photos of students.
