Usually if a gerbil is missing hair on it's paws, especially it's front ones, they lost the hair because they chewed it off, a behavior gerbils follow when their surroundings stay the same. Basically, when they get bored to death. If this is happening to your gerbil, try giving it more exercise with you and moving the things inside the cage around a bit.
yes, it is .... it is very nateral for cats to have fur under there paws, it is called toughs. no biggie.
Absolutely, they are a great source of vitamins and minerals for the gerbil!
no a gerbil pup needs its mothers milk to survive when it is young
Pita bread would be OK for a gerbil. As long as it is unsweetened and unsalted.
as long as its not poisonous and not hard
You will get mixed answers for this question. The previous answer was "no", but I disagree. Hampster food and gerbil food are almost identical and are often sold as the same thing. It is ok, but try to keep it to gerbil food.
If you play with it daily, yes it should be fine :-)
MMM if it was one of the rat walker things (that you can get in barneys) that fit but no not really.
no you cant. you also cant give a gerbil any type of soda.
Yes, but just a damp one. And make sure your gerbil is comfortable with it. He/She must be completely dry before being put back in his/her cage.
Probably not. But I read a book in my school library about gerbils and the author of it said that one of his friends put a gerbil and a mouse together in a cage and they worked out OK.
Yes they will be fine
