Yes, though there will always be some who disapprove. But then, there will always be some who disapprove of guys having long hair or girls having body piercing.

My own neighbors disapprove of the species of trees I have growing, but the birds love them, so I don't care.

It is not bad for a few reasons:

1: Love is love. People should express that in anyway they feel like.

2: People should be true to themselves. When you tell someone gay that they should not be gay then you are telling them to not be themselves.

3: Many people say that The Bible says homosexuality is wrong.

(a) Remember that was written in a time and place when and where people would have written that God said that. However there are many representations of God that all say something different.

(b) Besides, if God wants there to be peace and love in the world, wouldn't being gay make there more love in the world and make people stop fighting over whether or not it was right or wrong?

(c) Try to form your own opinions about things instead of just believing what something or someone tells you. I am not saying that the Bible is all wrong. But there are some Christians who think that gay is okay.

If you're Gay then be Gay. Don't listen to what people say or think about you. If people hate you for being Gay then let them. Who cares if you are. It's fine whoever you love. Don't let people stop you from being Gay.

It's OK to be gay. Gays are awesome and even though people may not like it, it's fine because they are probably trying to hide their own gayness by making fun of you. Don't worry. If you are a Christian it's against the bible, but I think it's still OK. Just take time to wonder if your are truly gay. Because being gay is more of a fad lately, everyone thinks they're gay. So be careful and make good decisions.

Of course it's OK to be gay. There is nothing wrong in being gay, that is why gay rights are allowed in India, and it is very good in times of pressure or stress. Being a gay is no problem, but some people object to it.

That is all a matter of opinion. You get the people who think gays are... different and therefore inferior, then you have the people like me who think that being gay, bi or lesbian, is OK, fine, brilliant (whatever). Just ignore people if they insult you; it is YOUR life, not theirs!

I honestly don't think that it is OK to be gay. In the Bible, (Romans 1:26-27) it talks about men leaving natural relations with women and committing indecent acts with other men. One version says "Men with men committing what is shameful" That, to me, says that being gay is wrong.

It is perfectly fine and natural to be homosexual, many people think being homosexual is a personal choice, these people are wrong. Humans are born and they are naturally attracted to either the opposite or the same sex, no one on this earth has the privilege to choose as to which sex they will be attracted to as this has already been chosen for you before you were born. It's always fascinated me, the attitude of straight people, especially men, towards gays. Some men I know fantasize about watching lesbians having fun but can become rabid over the notion of men sharing love. I'm well aware this is based on a horrified speculation, mixed with morbid curiosity, about what these gentlemen get up to in their bedrooms.

Folk who object loudly to the existence of gays are almost invariably obsessed with bedroom activities, but just look at the number of prominent citizens who've railed against homosexuality only to eventually be caught out enjoying clandestine guilty pleasures involving like-minded men. Or little boys or girls, in that case usually with clear lack of consent; a bit different from the loving, stable, gay relationship so hotly and righteously decried by these pillars of society.

Some upright folk argue the idea of gay marriage threatens our society in general and conventional families in particular. I'm waiting for someone, anyone, to come up with an example of how the presence of a gay person or persons, or gay couples, in any community has somehow destroyed the very fabric of our family life.

I don't count, here, the many examples of happily and conventionally-married men and women who discover in the course of their marriage that they prefer their own sex when it comes to companionship and, er, sex. This isn't easy for either partner in the marriage, but happens more frequently than most of us realize.

The effect of the presence of gays upon any society hasn't yet been demonstrated to me, and until I'm convinced homosexuality irrevocably wrecks our communities, I'll continue to believe it's okay to be gay.
Being gay isn't right or wrong. It's just part of nature. It's just like asking if it's wrong to be left handed.Yes, it is ok to be gay. Love should extend to all people, and even to all animals (although sexual love should stay within species.) Some people may not agree, but there seems to be no hard evidence as to why being gay would be wrong. Some people may quote religious texts, but these were mostly written in a time where people's life spans were much shorter and a low population was an issue as compared to today where long lifespans are common and the world is becoming increasingly overpopulated.
