I call BS on that answer. The tongue is actually one of the fastest to heal where piercings are concerned. It'll leave a pretty mean divot depending on how bad the swelling was when it was pierced, but mine healed up within 3 hours. As far as whether it's good or not, I loved it, but it will always be a matter of opinion, don't depend on other people to tell you what's good for you. If you like it, get it.
