Well, it depends.
If your cat is catching mice (not eating them) it is unlikey there will be any risks. Apart from if the mouse if carrying fleas or something which are carrying a disease which can jump onto your cat and thus infect them. Although, this is not likely.
If your cat EATS the mouse, there is more of a risk, but not anything to worry about. (It is normal for cats to EAT their prey). The above applies, although if the mouse carries internal diseases and the cat eats it, the cat MAY catch them, but unlikey again.
All round, I'd say theres just a 2% health risk! VERY LOW!!!
(my cat often catched mice and I have known many who have EATEN them, and nought happened)
generally no.
highly dependent on the rodent's condition.
It is to the rodent
no but they eat nachos and oatmeal, whatever you think is wrongSorry, but cats do not eat nachos and oatmeal, don't know what you were thinking. But no cats normally wont eat a chinchilla. If you have a room that you have your chinchilla cage in that you can lock when you arent home that's fine. But when you are in there you can let the cats in. If they are cofertable you are fine, but if the chinchilla is scared of the cats it might attack!!! My cats sometimes eat only the heads off small rodents... including chipmunks.
Cats are genetically wired to attack any prey that they happen to notice. This includes fish, small rodents, and birds, including lorikeets. If they catch them, they will kill them, and may eat them.

Sand cats, as in the wild cats in the desert, eat rodents, lizards, birds, and insects, usually rodents. They can go for months on just the water in their food, though they will drink water when it is available.

If given the chance, yeah, most cats would. Gerbils pretend to be hard and invincible but they are quite vulnerable and when they get scared they are little wimps. =) They are rodents, cats eat practically all small rodents and birds

Wild cats eat mice and other rodents. However, domesticated cats will hunt mice to practice their hunting, to play, and to give it to you (there are various reasons for cats to give their killed or half-killed prey to you.)
Not in any important amount. Bobcats, like all cats, are what's called "obligate carnivores" meaning they HAVE to eat meat.
