There is no prohibition in The Bible against such a thing. But actually, in the Bible a man with a pierced ear was a sign of slavery. (Exodus 21:2-6) Ear piercings for men has become fashionable, but it's not always good to follow fashion trends. For example: extremely short skirts are in fashion for women, but this is not appropriate for a woman professing to be a christian minister, and a teacher of the Bible. The Bible even says that if a man has long hair it is a dishonor to him. (1 Corinthians 11:14) If a JW male gets his ear(s) pierced, he would not be removed from the congregation or shunned for this, but likely he would not be used in the congregation for any additional priveledges such as talks from the platform much like if he had long hair or did not dress appropriately for congregation meetings.
