well my cousin is a very bad case of bipolar and she needs to take her medication daily and if she doesnt she will have mood swings and she will hurt people around her
Both are pretty bad, but I would say cancer is worse. You can control depression with medication and it also won't kill you. With cancer, you could actually die from it.
No
No it is not
no, bad sleeping habits do not cause bipolar disorder. the illness is caused by a chemical imbalance in your brain. it can be treated by medication and therapy but can not be cured. You can't become it but if you've got it you can trigger an episode with disrupted sleep patterns. I recently triggered a hypomanic episode by going to bed three-quarters of an hour later than normal two nights running.
No, any alcohol with this type of medication is bad, it will make you drunk quicker.
No, you need to be under a doctor's care to take prescription medication. There could be a reaction, like an allergic reaction or the dose could be too much for your body. If anything bad happened to you because you had a reaction and had to be seen in the ER, there could be legal issues related to whoever gave you their prescription medication, as well.
