No this is a terrible swap. The 55 series tire will be 9.13% too small and your speedometer will read 66 mph at a true 60 mph. Handling and ride will also be adversely effected. If you want to go to a wider tire then go with a 235/65-16 which will be a very good swap. A 255/60-16 will also be a good swap unless you have clearance problems as it may be too wide. With either size your speedometer will be read 59.4 mph at a true 60 mph. .
