Also, sometimes helping can change from good to bad. An example can be helping someone by giving them a place to stay because they may have lost their job and home. While in the beginning you are giving them a chance to get back on their feet, after some time, if they refuse to try and choose to live off the one helping them, that's when the helping can become a bad thing. By simply letting them believe they don't have to better themselves and their situation, the helping turns into enabling.
