Childhood is always going to be a very subjective question: I grew up in the 60s and there were times I loved being as I was at that time. A comparison with todays children is very difficult, some things have changed beyond recognition, other things have not changed at all. The world has changed. Time has moved on and we will never see those days again. And indeed it occurs to me that comparison is not really an option, who knows what the future holds for the children of today ? No more than we did as children of the 60s in Britain listening to The Beatles or Hermans Hermits or the Dave Clark 5 on the radio on Four Way Family Favourites from BFPO goodness knows where.... Or Alf Garnett in black & white on the telly calling his wife a silly moo and thinking about how mum & dad relate to that in reality. And then there were fields & trees and freedom.... Nostalgia isn't what it used to be....
I grew up in the 1960s. One does not have the choice of the date of birth. You get what you are given & I suppose you have to make the best of it. There were good times and times that were not so good: There was brilliant music, we all love the music of our youth, we all think that is the best there is I am sure. The world has changed & will go on changing, time will not stand still and we, none of us, will never recapture those halcyon days..........
Yes we had gas, and MUCH better, faster more practical cars than now.
Worse. Parents have lost both the right to discipline a child and the ability to discipline.
Murre lost some of its trees, the resulting landslides and now it is being threatened by deforestation.
colleg is the best way to have a better learning ability. That you and your child now or later can have.
the same way as they do now.
If your man has a child he should have always been paying child support. Suck it up and deal with the fact that he needs to take responsibility for his child. It has nothing to do with spite and everything to do with the law. Better than that, it has to do with being an adult and not letting this child suffer.
Murree is more crowded now than it was in the 1960s. It has lost some trees and the resulting landslides affected the writer's feelings for it.
BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD(REN) with regard to:Emotional/mental stability;Educational now and future;Economic/financial stability;Physical well-being;Spiritual well-being.
Its easy you just get on with it , I got divoced and was left with 4 children and I'm an better person for it. Doesnt matter being a single person you will bring your child up in a stable setting rather then what you had and your child /children will thank you for it mine did
