its all in how much you're willing to pay. superchargers are safer and only require the blower apparatus without any reinforced parts, but they use power from the engine, so there is a limit as to how much power you can gain (blowers are driven from the belt or crankshaft and are powered by the engine, but while they take a certain amount of horsepower away, they give back more in return. a supercharger can be too big for an engine, and not allow enough power to start the car). turbos on the other hand are virtually limitless in the amount of power they can give (they are driven from exhaust pressure, and once powered by the pressure they increase rpms and therefore can eventually power themselves). unfortunately, they run at very high rpms of about 20k - 300k. this in turn requires reinforced, heavy-duty parts such as a new radiator, fuel pump, etc. therefore, the whole package of a turbo kit costs more than a blower.
There was no SS camaro in 1992.
yes
Only 82-92 camaro hood.
Theoretically you can supercharge any internal combustion motor. Practically, there probably is not much in the way of off-the-shelf parts available to supercharge a 2.4 litre Mitsubishi motor. In addition, the relatively small size of the motor (compared to many supercharged motors) means it would be difficult to achieve large power or torque gains. If you really want to go down this path I would advise a turbo instead of a supercharger.
Location of pass key controller module on 92 Camaro
One may purchase a 92 Camaro on Amazon for a very generous price. Also, Ebay and Craigslist may be checked, for a possible better price. However, keep in mind that the shipping cost may be a bit expensive.
