Applying with an 'undecided' major will not boost your chances of acceptance at any school. That said, neither will applying with a decided major. If you scored particularly well on a specific test, such as SATII Chem, maybe you could put your major as something sciency - showing admissions officers that you're good at what you want to be. Overall though, major shouldn't affect chances of admission significantly.
