I don't think it's advisable. Your vet has products that both clean the ear, and dry it. If the ear is dirty, smells bad, or has discharge, then you should have the vet examine it regardless to make sure you're not dealing with an infection. If you don't wanna spend the money on going to the vet than baby wipes an rub it against the ear you can also do it with hydron peroxide
Actually, it is best to use warm clean water with no soap. Both soap and hydrogen peroxide kill living cells that are trying to heal the cut, so either one would slow down the healing process and possibly make a larger scar.
Sure they can. Now whether that's good for the dog, I don't know.
yes you can.
just be sure to clean the fluid out when done and wipe it up.
You could, but i wouldn't recommend it. Repeated use of hydrogen peroxide can irritate your dog's ears.
If swallowed, hydrogen peroxide will induce vomiting in dogs.
Clean it with water and disinfect it (hydrogen peroxide is good).
hydrogen peroxide and cold water
Wipe the blood off with hydrogen peroxide, then clean the peroxide off with water after you get the blood out. Peroxide will usually get blood out of most fabrics.
To clean a water cooler dispenser, remove all filters and run 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide diluted with 11 times as much water through the dispenser. It is necessary to use food grade hydrogen peroxide as it does not contain the harmful stabilizers contained in regular 3% hydrogen peroxide. The dilution step is necessary because otherwise the peroxide will be too caustic.
No. Hydrogen peroxide is usually dissolved in water to make it more stable. The peroxide you buy at the pharmacy is 3% hydrogen peroxide and 97% water. Pure hydrogen peroxide, which is a dangerously strong oxidizer, can explosively decompose into water and oxygen.
Hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen.
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) does not dissociate in water.
The material most commonly called "hydrogen peroxide", especially by non-chemists, is a solution of the solute hydrogen peroxide in water as the solvent.
To paraphrase Cave Johnson: "Here's some advice in case you get hydrogen peroxide in your dog's eye: do not get hydrogen peroxide in your dog's eye."Flush it immediately with clean water for about ten minutes. That's really about all you can do.
Formula for Water - H20 Formula for Hydrogen Peroxide - H2O2
Both are compounds consisting entirely of hydrogen and oxygen. Water is H2O. Hydrogen peroxide is H2O2.
Water is H2O and hydrogen perioxide is H2O2 hydrogen peroxide has one more oxygen atom than water.
